The first ramen place to be awarded a Michelin star, Tsuta is unique because they use truffle oil in their ramen.
Because there has been so much publicity, in order to eat here you must get a queue ticket before you even queue. The tickets are available from 7:00 AM and will need to be given in exchange with a 1000 yen bill as a deposit. One person can get several tickets as long as one provides a 1000 yen bill per person as a deposit. You will be asked to come back to queue at a specified time.
Make sure that you are willing to wait as they will not return the 1000 yen deposit if you do not return or want to leave before you get your ramen.
