Located extremely close to Tokyo Station’s Nihonbashi exit, Sara Beth’s is a great place to have a fancy breakfast or brunch. Although a majority of the people around you will probably be ordering the eggs benedict and the ricotta cheese pancakes, I actually enjoyed their omelette immensely.
The picture above is the garden omelet featuring kale, thinly sliced shiitake mushrooms and cheese. It’s half eaten as I was too busy digging in and wasn’t able to pry myself away to take a snap until I had a few bites to eat.
It comes with your choice of cornbread, toast or muffin. I chose cornbread as I don’t know anywhere else in Tokyo where you can get legit cornbread.
I highly recommend ordering some bacon. It’s a bit pricey and it’s not the uber crispy American kind but is heavenly nonetheless.
If you plan on going there for breakfast, they don’t take reservations. Go wait 15 to 10 minutes before they open and line up. That way, you will probably be able to get in at 9:00 when they open and won’t have to wait too long.
